Technically she turns 2 today, but we played pretend yesterday…she hasn’t got the hang of reading the calendar yet so I think we got away with it.
It was a wonderful day, one of those days where your heart just aches with pride and love everytime you see her interacting with someone or screaming with joy when she’s playing a new game. *be’s a bit fluffy today*
The day started out fantastically, with a freecycle offer of a garden slide turning out to be from a house just a few doors up the road. Steve nipped out to get it at 8am, and the generous guy helped him carry it home. After a good clean and a minor repair/replacement of bolts it was good as new.
The weather was great, so we pressed ahead with the barbecue and made our usual mountain of food. We’ve got enough leftovers to keep Steve in packed lunches all week
Abi thoroughly enjoyed being centre of attention, seeing Grandparents, family and friends and having a good run about…and lots of cake
A big Thank you to everyone who wished her a happy birthday
We ventured out on Saturday to visit a friend, our first time out socially as a family. Unless you count Tescos hehe
Abi loved all the attention, and the trampoline! Looks like we know what to put on her birthday list for next year.
Everything’s in place for her birthday next Monday, possibly planning a little BBQ on the Sunday but that depends on the weather, metcheck keeps changing it’s mind
Toby’s a month old already, time is flying by.
Pics and Vids of Saturday
And some photos of Toby with his custom made Comfortag blanket.
Well, we’re just about getting used to being a family of four now. Toby’s made himself at home and is settled to sleeping in his own cot and room. Abi adores her little brother and is busy planning what treats she wants for her birthday. I can’t believe she’s going to be 2 in 13 days, time has flown.
Here are some more vids and photos from the last few weeks. There are some videos on the youtube/video tab as well.
